A woman's place is in the House, Senate, and Oval Office!

Republican Women's Federation of Michigan

The Greenstone Club

The Greenstone Club is a special fundraising effort that was instituted in 2003 by Mary Abel, RWFM Past President; 2000 - 2005.

Money contributed to the Greenstone Fund is used to further enhance our members knowledge of Republican issues and the election process with speakers and programs at our meetings and conventions.  By doing so, RWFM members are better educated to be more effective leaders in their own communities and at the grassroots level.

Annual membership in the Greenstone Club is $100.00.  You will receive a cloisonné pin to wear as evidence of your support of the Republican Women’s Federation work and our sincere gratitude for helping us to better educate our members.

Michigan designated the Isle Royale greenstone (chlorastrolite) as the official state gem in 1973.  Chlorastrolite (a variety of the mineral pumpellyite) is a bluish-green stone with a pattern of slender, star-like crystals which results in a "turtle back" pattern. Some chlorastrolite includes other minerals, such as on three of the stones pictured above (the pink parts are identified as thomsonite).
