A woman's place is in the House, Senate, and Oval Office!

Republican Women's Federation of Michigan

We Work Hard as Clubs...Here's how we can get some acknowledgment for it!

Dear Member,

Women often do not look for acknowledgment for their hard work that
they do each day.  The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW)
has awards programs that does recognize and give awards to our Clubs.
This message is sent to all members so that you each may help your
club receive an award.

The Club Achievement Award is designed to enhance teamwork among
members of each club.  Two copies of this application must be mailed
to me by the Club President with a postmark no later than June 1,
2011.  It is for work done by the members for the time period of
January 1, 2010 through the end of December 2011.  Credit will be
given for programs scheduled though the end of 2011.  The forms and
attachments are attached to this email.

The Campaign Volunteer Award honors individual Clubs and State
Federations that spend a tremendous amount of time volunteering
(non-paid) for the Republican Party, Republican candidates and the
Federation of Republican Women.  The Volunteer Award form includes
information about this award including a tally sheet for members to
record their hours for the time period of July 2009 though the end of
June 2011.  Members should turn in all tally sheets to their club
president or campaign hours chairman before May 15, 2011.  Each club
president or campaign hours chairman should total the hours of their
club members and fill out one tally sheet for the entire club and mail
it to me by June 1, 2011.

The Caring for America Award is to recognize an outstanding projects
local clubs have been involved in during the time period of 2010 and
2011.  The attached form has information about this award and should
be completed and postmarked by June 1, 2011.  Please ignore the
incorrect year dates on the form.

The 100% Club Membership Award is a one page form to be filled out by
the president of the local club if its membership has increase by 100%
during the year 2010.  Unfortunately it does not apply to new clubs,
only existing ones.

I am a new member of Lakeshore Republican Women and am very excited
about the organization and what it offers.  I encourage each member to
go to the NFRW web site (www.nfrw.org).  Please also take the time to
look at and fill out the various forms for these awards.

Thank you for all you do for the NFRW and RWFM,
